The line was located perfectly, our plumbing pros jackhammered the concrete up, dug out the pipe to find the sewer line cracked, corroded, and invaded by tree roots. When we were replacing the cast iron pipe with schedule 40 PVC, the technician noticed a hairline crack in the cast-iron pipe where original transition was going to be made so we had to go to the old bell and spigot fitting meaning we needed a new SV gasket. We chamfered the end of the PVC pipe so it could be inserted into the bell and spigot that was in excellent condition. We used underground strong back fittings. Now our clients new sewer line has a 2% grade and is flowing beautifully. Inspection passed, backfilled, poured concrete, happy customer. Easy BreeZy.
