Customers requested that our plumbing pros raise his gas trunk line so he could raise his ceiling in his basement. Knowing that the house was made with a black iron pipe ran as the trunk line, the plumber replaced a section of the black iron with CSST (this allows for more BTUs to get pushed through i.e. makes more room for the gas to flow). While we were at it, he also requested that we install a designated gas line for a new grill and gas stove. We ran a 3/4” gas line out to the back so he is able to get his grill a direct gas line, and ran a 3/4" gas line to the kitchen which allows our customer to switch out his electric stove and replace it with a gas stove (the 3/4" was ran to prevent either fixture from not having enough gas flow). Now he’s cookin’ with gas.
